Peyton Manning - what a year he had, 4,557 yards and a record 49 td passes and he sat out the last game. He makes that offense go. The Colts can't play defense so every week Manning has to have a huge day for them to win. They won their division and are a 3rd seed in a tough AFC but he still has to prove something to me in the big game, say a 2nd round game at New England.
RUNNER UP - Terrell Owens
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Daunte Culpepepper - what a year he had and if it weren't for Mannings record breaking year we would have heard alot more about it. He lead the NFL with 4,717 yards and had 39 td's while playing alot of the year without Randy Moss. The bad news is the Vikings will be out of the playoffs after round 1.
RUNNER UP - LaDanian Tomlinson
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
James Farrior - he is the leader on a great defense who finished with the best record in football.
RUNNER UP - Ed Reed
COACH OF THE YEAR
Marty Schottenheimer - he lead the Chargers to a 12-4 record and won the division title. Last year they had the worst record in the league and wanted Eli Manning, who didn't want to play for the Chargers, maybe the Mannings have changed their minds, he got Brees to play well and his defense was a big surprise.
RUNNER UP - Bill Cower
ROOKIE OF YEAR
Ben Rothlisberger - this is a no brainer, big Ben ended the year 13-0 and as a rookie QB that is unheard of. Now he has to prove it in the postseason.
RUNNER UP - Mike Clayton
2004 PLAYOFF WATCH
COMEBACK PLAYER
Drew Brees - last year they had the worst record and drafted a QB then traded for another QB. The only reason Brees got a chance to play was because Phillip Rivers held out, and he took full advantage of it, leading his team to a division title.
